Compliance Manager

DescriptionConstruction Safety and Compliance Manager West Bay Energy is seeking a Construction Safety and Compliance Manager.
They are responsible for ensuring the Company's Safety, Health, and employee compliance plan is enacted on projects and in the office.
Health insurance is available.
PTO available after 90 days.
Responsibilities oAssist project supervision with the implementation of the Company Safety Plan for the project in its entirety.
oIdentify areas of training, conduct and document training.
oPerform orientation of all new employees.
oReview all work plans and methods, ensuring compliance with the Company Plan and regulations.
oFrequently inspect and document construction activities.
oCoordinate safety compliance with subcontractors.
oEnsure documentation of specific programs are captured (i.
e.
, monthly crane inspections, safety harness, and lanyard inspections) and all deficiencies are corrected.
oAssist with investigating near misses, accidents, property damage, theft, and vandalism.
oOrientate and escort, along with project supervision, any regulatory compliance inspector(s), emergency services, vendors, etc.

oCoordinate and stock safety supplies as needed for the job and manage the safety budget alongside the Project Manager.
oProject Safety Managers, working alongside Project Managers, report directly to Regional Safety Managers.
Qualifications o3
years of experience in Construction safety management.
oWorking knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
oAbility to develop and implement safety programs.
oExperienced in root cause investigations.
oExcellent communication & presentation skills.
oStrong organizational & time-management skills.
Physical Demands (include but not limited to) oWork involves standing and walking for extended periods.
oWork requires the following motions:
stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching, squatting, and the ability to climb ladders that have capacity limits of 300 lbs.
oRequires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
oAbility to work at heights, below grade level, or on water.
oThis job requires the individual to have good hand-to-eye coordination.
oAbility to use hands for signal purposes when needed.
